On trend with Zoopla’s insight that the housing market is at its strongest in 5 years, The Room Boutique has experienced a fruitful launch with numerous properties that we’ve photographed being snapped up and going under offer in less than a week! Testimony that picture-perfect presentation draws quality interest and yields results.

We recently observed a scenario of pent-up demand post-lockdown on a local property of interest for an investor. Within 24 hours of this immaculately presented 3-bedroom home going to market with the appointed estate agent, several offers were received at and around the full asking price on the day of viewings. A final offer was accepted by the seller well-over the asking price - positive affirmation that the property market is vibrant. This whirl of buyer intent is welcoming news to many, coupled with a freeze on stamp duty by the UK Government, buyers and sellers are incentivised to act soon before the stamp duty holiday ends in March 2021.

What differentiated the aforesaid home from others nearby is a blend of stylish presentation and being marketed at the right price to achieve a quick sale (STC). It is not surprising that a larger property close by in much need of TLC is taking longer to shift, partly due to it not being showcased at its best – the benefits of staging are clear!

The buoyancy of the property market is a trend that looks set to continue in Surrey and surrounds.

Founded by Elise Jalon, who has personally purchased, renovated and staged over 10 properties internationally, including staging and remodelling a property in Surrey with a £5K investment budget that sold within two weeks and achieved a six-figure sum of profit in under 9 months of ownership.

Living in Surrey with her husband and two daughters, Elise is excited to share her talents that enrich one’s wellbeing as a lifestyle choice. She is much inspired by ‘hygge’ pronounced ‘hoogah’ as a way of life - the Danish secret to happiness – which is woven into her unique way of curating and staging homes to be intimately comfortable for those who choose to buy, live and share love in it.
